The Staff Canteen

The Staff Canteen Live is on the road again and heading to Scotland with our sponsors Rational, Meiko, Nyetimber, Sodiaal and some amazing chefs!

We are excited to share the final four of our chefs from our line up, who will be on stage at ScotHot for The Staff Canteen Live 2023 - they are Michelin-starred Adam HandlingRoy Brett, chef owner of Ondine; Graeme Cheevers, chef patron of Michelin-starred Unalome and Stuart Ralstonchef owner of Aizle and Noto.

They will join the other four chefs previously announced - Tom Kitchin, Michelin-starred restaurateur, Kaori Simpson, chef owner of Harajuku Kitchen, Calum Montgomery, chef owner of Edinbane Lodge and Paul Wedgwood, chef owner of Wedgwood the Restaurant.

Taking place on March 8 and 9 at Glasgow’s Scottish Event Campus (SEC) it is now in its 50th year, ScotHot23 offers an unmissable opportunity for guests to meet with suppliers, network with others to share ideas and inspiration, and learn about the latest trends from across the industry.

With over 200 exhibitors from the food and drink, technology, catering equipment, tableware and design and many more industries to be showcased over the two days, ScotHot23 will fill the SEC with some of the biggest names in the industry.

For a third year, with the help of City College of Glasgow, The Staff Canteen Live will be showcasing eight chefs across the two days, each cooking a dish from their menu and taking questions from the audience at the end of the demo. They will also be handing out samples of the dish, so make sure you are at our stage early to guarantee a seat and some free food!

Editor of The Staff Canteen, Cara Houchen said: “Myself and The Staff Canteen team can’t wait to get back to ScotHot. It’s always a great show with a real buzz and it delivers a fantastic audience to our stage.

“The last time we were able to bring our live stage to Scotland was 2019 so we wanted to make sure our return was bigger and better than before. Our line up features some of the best Scottish chefs, showcasing their fantastic dishes and answering your questions.”
