The Staff Canteen Awards 2021: shortlist voting open!

The Staff Canteen

The Staff Canteen Awards are back, for the second year we want to celebrate the amazing people of hospitality and the decision is in our audience’s hands: and now the time has come to vote!

Not only did you get to nominate individuals or teams who you think deserve to be in the spotlight, but now you get to vote for the winner too! Four people have been shortlisted in each category, cast your vote before November 11th at 5pm.

This year we are proud to partner with Rational as both our headline sponsor and sponsor of the Social Media Influencer.

The winners will be announced at a live event at The Compound in Birmingham on November 15 and they will once again get their hands on an exclusive gold, The Staff Canteen mug, plus, lots of other goodies and they’ll join last year’s winners in The Staff Canteen hall of fame.

We have also introduced two new categories this year, member of the year and front of house team of the year.

Editor of The Staff Canteen, Cara Houchen, said: “The launch of The Staff Canteen Awards last year was not only a great success but a very welcome distraction in a really tough year for hospitality. Our aim was to do something fun, which celebrated hospitality workers across the board from all levels and all sectors and you can see from our winner sthat we achieved this.

“The fact that they were all voted for by you, our audience, really highlighted how much the industry values the people who work in it.

“This year I have the pleasure of hosting the awards final live and I can’t wait to welcome all of our shortlisted nominees and celebrate them amongst their peers. Make sure you don't miss out - get voting now!"

Our other sponsors this year are Compass Group UK & Ireland, Chef Works, Bord Bia, WPA Healthcare and Major.

Over 17,000 votes were made last year, let’s make sure we smash that this year – make sure you get your votes in before they close on November 11th at 5pm!
